Meet the teamFrom age 3 on the baby pony programme: a gentle half-hour built around grooming, games on foot and a first time in the saddle. Proper riding lessons begin at around 6 or 7, in hour-long groups.
No. The club provides a riding hat and everything else for the first lessons. As your child progresses, a hat of their own and a pair of soft leather jodhpur boots are a good idea.

Every week the pony club welcomes children from Bergerac and the surrounding villages — Prigonrieux, Lembras, Creysse, La Force, Lamonzie-Saint-Martin — as well as from Mussidan, Villamblard and Vergt, a little further north. The large car park in front of the stables makes drop-off and pick-up easy on Wednesdays and during the school holidays; just carry on about fifty metres past the manor house and the entrance is right after it.
